A collaborative collective group of dedicated, committed, skilled, qualified and experienced people make up the CATS Inc team. Members of the team are proud of the values and philosophical foundations of the organisation, they share a common vision of community and work collaboratively to create opportunities for young people with disabilities.
CATS Inc is governed by a volunteer Board of Management of dedicated people from a broad range of backgrounds and expertise. CATS takes a skills based approach when recruiting and selecting Board Members. The Board of Management adhere to the CATS Inc Board Manual in the recruitment, selection and induction of suitable Board Members.
CATS Inc has a long term secure and stable Board of Management with tenure ranging from 3-10+ years.
The office-based staff consists of a Manager, a Client Servcies Co-ordinator, a Life Skills Course Co-ordinator, and an Administrative Assistant.
The operational, financial, governance, and quality aspects of service delivery and organisational management are just some of the responsibilities of the Administration and Management team.
Our support workers accompany the young people, providing one-to-one support, while they undertake activities. The Support Workers are not office based, and are actively supporting young people’s community connections and participation. The support workers are there to help, guide and encourage, but ultimately the aim is for the young person to develop skills and confidence to continue as independently as possible.
We generally have between 10-15 Lifestyle Support Workers on staff providing disability support work, and their employment ranges from 2-15+ years.
