When you are supported by CATS Inc you have the right to:
- A quality service that meets your individual needs, and is age appropriate
- A service that seeks opportunities for self development and participation in the broader community
- A service and staff that promote positive images of people with a disability, and provides recognition and encouragement of goals and achievements
- A service free from any form of abuse and neglect, and treats people with respect
- Make complaints and give compliments about the service received. If you make a complaint you will not get into trouble
- Be involved in planning the support you receive and in decisions that affect the support you receive
- Information about services that you may need
- A service that is sensitive to your cultural needs
- A service that is non-discriminatory
- Privacy and confidentiality in all aspects of your life
- Access to an advocate of your choice, and given information about Advocacy services
- Refuse a service
When you are supported by CATS Inc you have the responsibility to:
- Provide information about your support needs and personal circumstances that affect your service support
- Treat people and property with respect, free from abuse and assault.
- Be involved in planning the support you receive and in decisions that affect the support you receive
- Pay any fees or charges that are part of the agreed service
- Discuss any concerns or complaints about the service received
