Individual Support
This is achieved through Lifestyle Support Workers providing one-to-one support and assistance to people with disabilities in a range of activities e.g. volunteer work, TAFE, leisure options, independent travel skills, social skills, further education etc.
CATS Inc is a developmental service, with a focus on assisting young people move towards the achievement of personal goals, development of skills, abilities, and networks within the local community. As such, it is important that we work in partnership and unison with the young people and their families, and in agreement and commitment to the identified goals.
CATS Inc undertakes to assist young people work towards achieving their personal goals within available resources. At times, young people are unable to pursue all of their goals at the one time, due to the limited hours of support available. When this occurs, young people and their families will be asked to prioritise their goals, and identify which goals they would prefer to concentrate on at any one time, within available resources.
